Easily Search and Filter Comments to Administer
A powerful administration dashboard is included in the PackFlash Comment and Rating system to help you manage the comments, ratings, recommendations, and comments flagged as abuse. You can use this module to search and/or filter for specific comments within the system or just find the comments that meet a certain state such as "not approved". It is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, but still provide enough flexibility and power to find the comments and ratings that need to be managed. |

Editor Control of Comments
After searching for the comments that are needed to administer, the comments can be "Approved/Unapproved" and "Deleted". In addition, they can be marked as "User Abuse", "Editor Recommended". "Dele. |

User Ratings, Sorting and Control
Users can sort to view all the comments, only the comments recommended by editors, or only the comments by the users. In addition, users can provide ratings for each item, recommend other comments, and mark other comments as "abuse". |

Control Of The Way the Comment Module Behaves
The module can "stick" to a page or to any module on the page. It can also serve as a "teaser" module where the entire comments don't show, but a teaser can be shown with the average ratings, the number of comments, and a link to the actual comments located down the page. This allows the user to see that there are comments, but not have them clutter the top of the page. |
|
Administrator Options For Sticking to A Module
When choosing to have the comments to depend on a module ("stick to module"), the admin will provide a dropdown of all of the modules available on the page. At that point, the administrator can choose to have comments further tracked individually by defining a "query key" that is used in the url. In addition, 3 themes are provided to choose from. |

Allow Comment Threading, Paging, and Comment Previews
Administrators can limit the number of characters that any comment will show by defining the preview of the comments. A "more" link will be shown for any comments that have more than the number of characters defined. For performance or appearances, paging for the comments can be turned on as well. Other options include the ability to provide threading (comment on other people's comments), allow ratings, enabling captcha, and defining a editor statement for any comments marked as abusive. |
